His experience being a part of the School of Law
I, Dr. Baharul Islam, herein, take the pride and honor to acknowledge my blessed association with one of the truly leading educational institutions of the country, and North-Eastern India in particular, i.e. Apex Professional University. I joined the University as an Associate Professor in the School of Law and Juridical Sciences on 10th of August, 2017 and in the course of my two and half years of service in the institution I have achieved myriad learning opportunities not only for the development of my career but for my self growth as well.
In a way, I am living my dream and passion of imparting knowledge, preparing youngsters for rewarding careers in various roles and responsibilities in different legal service organizations here in APU. I have always felt the ambience of the University a buoyant one. I consider myself fortunate enough to experience as well as teach under the excellent methodologies of Bloom’s Taxonomy also having the sanguine touch of traditional gurukul system of education. Under the blessing and able guidance of the Hon’ble Founder and Chancellor Acharya Dhanwaant Singh, I have been successfully able to lead forward the newly born School of Law and Juridical Sciences as the Head of the School. I honour the freedom of work to execute different developmental endeavours for the growth and betterment of the School. The infrastructure of the University is well-developed. The students here are very disciplined, intelligent and energetic. I have also fallen for the enchanting beauty of Pasighat, the only Central Government Declared Smart-City of India with 100% pure oxygen. The work environment is pleasant with supportive colleagues and staff members.
I have learnt a lot from my colleagues too who are young, energetic, coming from different Universities and well-versed with the new technologies and teaching methodologies.
