The LL.B. Program is designed with the view of spreading legal knowledge among professionals from other disciplines in the society. Its objective is to impart legal education to the students from various backgrounds and equip them to perform various roles of a legal professional, beyond the traditional role of litigation. The students will gain knowledge and develop advocacy skills which will help them in achieving their goals and objectives and serve the society. This certification provides a powerful insight into the way communication works in the legal world. In today’s competitive legal world and developing economy, effective communication skills are more essential than ever before. It is the basis on which legal companies and careers of law students are built upon and it is also an important component of lasting success.

Program Outcomes (PO)

PO1: Students will possess the knowledge and understanding of legal theory, Substantive and Procedural laws. 

PO2: To Explore the procedural laws and to be well versed in drafting and pleading. 

PO3: To Interpret and Analyze the legal and social problems and to understand the values of Rights and Duties.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree with 45% marks from UGC listed University or equivalent by AIU.
  2. secured 45% marks in case of General Category student, 42% in case of OBC category student and 40% for SC/ST category student.
  3. Candidates who have appeared or will be appearing at the qualifying examination and whose result is still awaited may also apply; provided that the result of the qualifying exam must be furnished to the University either by the last date of provisional registration or by the last date as specified by the University.

Scholarship

  1. Diamond Star Scheme : Northeast students who have more than 90% marks in qualifying exam and 90% above marks in the entrance cum scholarship test are eligible for a scholarship amount up to Rs. 3,00,000/- towards tuition fee concession.
  2. Platinum Star Scheme : Northeast students who have more than 80% marks in qualifying exam and 80% above marks in the entrance cum scholarship test are eligible for a scholarship amount up to Rs. 2,00,000/- towards tuition fee concession.
  3. Gold Star Scheme : Northeast students who have more than 70% marks in qualifying exam and 70% above marks in the entrance cum scholarship test are eligible for a scholarship amount up to Rs. 1,00,000/- towards tuition fee concession.
  4. Silver Star Scheme : Sikh Minority and APST students are eligible to apply for a scholarship up to Rs. 50,000/- towards tuition fee concession.
  5. APST Stipend Scheme : Provides financial assistance to the Scheduled Tribe students of Arunachal Pradesh, so as to enable them to pursue Higher Education. Stipend is issued by the Directorate of Higher & Technical Education, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh. The University Management will not entertain the queries related to irregularities or non-receipt of Stipend under any circumstances.

Admission Process

Application for admission to LL.B. Program shall be through online mode only. No other means of application will be accepted. To complete the online application process candidates need to register with name, mobile number and eMail ID and fill the online application form, upload latest photo & important documents and submit the form with an online payment. 

APU takes into account special talents or successes that might not appear on a transcript. We look for applicants who are curious, determined, and creative. Admissions decisions are based on the totality of available information about each applicant, and a careful evaluation of the candidate’s past accomplishments and future promise. Applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria before they apply.

How to Submit Online Application

The applicant has to register on the online admission portal of the University by filling the Application form – https://admission.apexuniversity.edu.in

STEP –I: Register Yourself

Fill up the Registration Form for Admission 2023. Once you have registered, you will receive an automated email with a verification link. Clicking on the link will verify your eMail ID and allow you to fill out your Online Application for Admission 2023 and to upload the required documents.

STEP-II: Fill Application Online

Fill up the application for Admission online and upload photographs and relevant documents.

STEP –III: Pay Application Fee

Pay an application processing fee of Rs. 900/-  via Credit Card / Debit Card / UPI / Netbanking. The application processing fee is non-refundable. The registration for Online Admission would be considered complete only when the applicant has paid the Application processing fee.

STEP – IV: SUBMIT APPLICATION BY POST

On completion of the above-mentioned steps, Download and take a print out of the submitted online application and dispatch along with complete enclosures in all respects by courier or speed post to:

The University shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit.

STEP – V: Payment of Fees to Confirm Admission

Once the admission is approved by the University, applicants shall be provided with a link to pay their fees. The admission shall be canceled if the applicant has not paid the fee within the allocated time.  On successful payment of fees, the applicant is granted provisional admission. 

STEP – VI: Physical Verification of the Submitted Documents

The uploaded documents shall be verified by the University in due course of time. If at this stage, the documents submitted by the applicants are found to be faulty, the admission shall be canceled immediately, without refunding of the fee.

  1. Original certificates of an applicant normally will not be retained and will be returned after verification; however, if required, the University may retain original certificates for verification from the Board / Council / University from where the certificates are issued.

  8. Credit Card or Debit card or UPI or Net Banking to pay the application fee.
