MONSOON SEMESTER
(1^st July to 31^st December)

Teaching Days: Monday to Saturday Office Timings: 08:30 AM to 04:30 PM

Note:

of Regular Classes/Teaching and Learning Process days (5 days/week) = 180 days/year or 90 days/semester.
of examination days (excluding evaluation days) = 22/year or 11/semester.
Evaluation of examination papers is complete within a span of 10-15 days from the date of the respective examinations.
The re-registration form will be issued orsubmitted as applicable.
If any of the holidays/restricted holidays for festivals notified above do not fall on the date/day notified, necessary modification will be made as per Government notification.
Cultural/sports event days/weeks will be notified as and when required during the ongoing semester and will be held in the afternoon hour of the day in the month of February/March.
Convocation is a tentative schedule in October, as per the consent of the Chief Guest.
Winter/Summer Break for teaching staff will be notified by the competent authority in due course of time.
Programmes having internships will commence after six weeks from the date of the semester-end examinations (odd term) of their respective programmes, and such has to be approved by the competent authority; however, programmes where internships are not a part of the curriculum will start the subsequent semester, as mentioned and approved via the academic calendar.

Only the vice-chancellor of APU can approve any minor modifications.
