Bachelor of Education (Top B.Ed College) programme is designed according to NCTE guidelines and spread across four semesters. The B.Ed. Programme is composed of education components and pedagogies evaluation processes followed by a school internship. The curriculum comprises three broad interrelated curricular areas of perspectives in education pedagogic studies and field engagement.

The programme has been started with a vision to impart in-depth knowledge of teacher education and prepare qualitative future teachers for nation-building. During these two years, the students get hands-on experience by observing real-life classroom teaching and excelling in the same during their internship.

APU courses include not only academic inquiry, but also field work which provides students with experience in their surrounding communities: in K-12 classrooms, co-teaching, tutoring, mentoring, assisting with an environmental education course, or participating in a vast array of educational activities.

Effective education is essential for the success of efforts to create and carry out policies and programs in the broad public interest of our democratic society. The APU offers interdisciplinary intellectual inquiry that serves to broaden and complement students’ work in their major fields of study. In the process, APU students will encounter the wide array of professional possibilities in the field of education, enabling those considering a career in this field to make an informed choice.

For National Students

Aspiring students should have done a bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks in related subjects.
Candidates can be from any discipline and must be having a penchant for teaching and learning.

For International Students
The eligibility criterion for all programs for international applicants is minimum 50% in the qualifying examination and having studied the prerequisite subjects for admission into the desired program.
