Acharya Dhanwant Singh, India’s highest qualified Vastu Consultant and Vedic Business Coach, conducted his interactive workshop for architects and students from across Bangalore at Bangalore University with the collaboration of Apex Professional University, Arunachal Pradesh, recently.
The National Workshop was organized by the Institute of Indian Knowledge (IIK) on ‘Role of Ancient Architectural Principles in Shaping Human Life’ at Dr. Venkatagiri Memorial Hall, Bangalore University. The workshop was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of Bangalore University Dr. Venugopal K R, who spoke on the need and relevance of Ancient Architectural Principles in modern life.
The resource person, Acharya Dhanwant Singh, who is also the Chancellor of Apex Professional University, delivered a talk on the areas of the ‘Truths & Myths of Vastu Shastra’, its effects on various aspects of human life and its correlation to the human pleasures and sufferings. He enlightened the students about the importance of Vastu, effects of it, its application and the logical reasoning behind it. The application of Vastu in the modern world was explained followed by a Q&A session with the audience.
Architectural students, faculty and the practicing Architects who attended the workshop gained valuable insights from the session. Dr. P. Ajith Kumar, Dean Research, APU gave the welcome speech and Prof. Haroon Saleem, Chairman, Department of Architecture, Bangalore University, delivered the Vote of Thanks.
